Find out more about our great facilities for hire 

  • We have a large hall (100m2) which is regularly used for fitness/exercise classes (dance, yoga…), for entertainments and performances, as a pop up Cafe, for meetings, and for childrens parties and celebrations.
  • Adjacent to the hall (and included in hall lettings) is an excellent fully equipped kitchen, with a hatch providing easy access to the hall.
  • And for smaller meetings or social events, you can hire the either Room 1 or our Conference Room.
  • The Conference Room seats 15-20 people in comfort around a large table. Fast wifi is available throughout the building.
  • Room 1 is ideal for smaller meetings up to 8 people with table and chairs. It has its own corner sink with hot /cold water and with a vinyl floor covering it is ideally suited to clinical type activities or general 121 activities, counselling etc.
  • The Cabin is currently occupied by the Trussell Trust local Food Bank and operates as a hub for the area. It is not staffed to receive visitors.

HALL

The Hall

The Hall with 18 large tables and 100 chairs, stored in a special area at end of the hall. The kitchen serving hatch is to the rear of the hall toether with a wall-mounted TV screen (not set up to receive broadcasts). A high quality ceiling mounted projector faces an electronic screen on the end wall. Professional standard AV equipment is available.

KITCHEN

KITCHEN

The contemporary semi-commercial kitchen (included in the hall booking, with a serving hatch to the hall) comes with twin induction 4 ring hobs , an oven, a commercial type dishwasher, a microwave, a large fridge / freezer, kettles + a constant feed hot-water dispenser and 3 sink facilities. Glassware (wine glasses etc), Crockery and cutlery is supplied for use.

The room can comfortably accommodate 15 persons seated at tables 20 persons max.

This room is furnished with table and chairs in conference format, with white board (water-soluble pens only) and flipchart. Teas and coffees can be made in the kitchen.

THE CABIN

THE CABIN

This recently refurbished Portacabin is stand-alone and self-contained.

It is adjacent to the main building, close to the Conference Room.

The Cabin is currently occupied 24/7 by the local Food Bank and is therefore not available to hire.

ADDITIONAL FACILITIES

We have high-speed WiFi broadband internet fibred to the site, a baby-changing facility, disabilty access and toilets.

Each hirer now has a unique 4 digit door code which is configured to individual bookings. If you have not received your new ‘personalised’ code please email fromus.centre@gmail.com ASAP.
The code for the outside keybox remains unchanged.

NHS Midwives

 The Midwives team continue to operate from the Saxmundham Hub complex and are now located at Block A behind the new library. The Midwifery team can be contacted by text message only on 07710 716948. 

NHS Midwives + Childrens Services

Children’s Services hold clinics and drop in sessions on alternate Wednesday and Friday mornings at The Fromus Centre. We regret the Fromus Centre booking line telephone number is unable to assist with NHS or SCC Childrens Services appointment queries etc. Please contact Childrens Services at the Leiston Family Hub Tel 01728 642930.
